Who we are

Preacher Prep is owned and operated by System Advance Limited, which is the data controller for the information described in this policy. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to System Advance Limited.

What we collect

When you use Preacher Prep, we collect the account information you provide (name, email), the content you capture (thoughts, quotes, illustrations, Preps), and basic usage data that helps us keep the product reliable.

How we use it

Your captured notes exist to serve your preparation — nothing else. We use account data to operate your subscription, send service-related email, and provide support when you ask for it.

• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your notes or Preps to train AI models.
• AI Assist reads your notes only to generate thinking prompts and study threads for you, on request.

Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to run Preacher Prep. They process data only to provide their service to us, never for their own purposes, and none of them use your content to train AI models:

• Supabase — database, sign-in, and secure storage of your account and notes.
• Anthropic — when you ask AI Assist for prompts, the relevant note text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate them, then returned to you. It is not stored by them or used for training.
• RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play — managing in-app subscriptions on mobile.
• Stripe — subscription payments on the web. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
• Resend — sending you sign-in and service emails.

Team & church accounts

On a Team plan, your church's admins can manage seats and billing, but each preacher's library — every note, quote, and Prep — remains private to that preacher.

How we keep it secure

Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed and salted by our authentication provider — we never see or store your actual password — and you can sign in with a passwordless magic link instead. Access is enforced per-account at the database level, so each user can only reach their own data; the credentials capable of reading across accounts are held only on our servers, never in the app. In the event of a breach, passwords are not recoverable, because we only ever hold a one-way hash of them.

Data retention

We keep your content for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your captured content within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Your choices

You can export your outlines at any time. You can delete your account and all its content from the app itself — Profile → Delete account — or by following the steps on our support page. You can also request a full export by contacting us.
